The item was listed as “signed by the author “, but it wasn’t. The seller then took a long time to respond to my complaint and the period for returning the item on eBay was exceeded. I mailed the item to the seller directly and he refunded the cost of the item but not the shipping, which he had said he would. In the end it cost me more to return the item to him than he refunded me.

The customer was advised to return the book through eBay but he send it back through very expensive international mail without asking me and request a return that cost. I returned the cost of the book and the cost of eBay shipping.
