Perfect, but white
I would have given it 5 stars if it were black instead of white. The black version connects to a cell phone, and cost slightly more. I did not want the cell phone feature because I live in a cell phone "dead zone." I bought this to replace an earlier version of the same thing. The features on this phone excellent, and designed to help people who are vision and hearing impaired. I do not believe you can find find a better phone with comparable features, and the Panasonic brand is one that I have respected for many years. Dissatisfied.
The only thing proper was the phone was well packaged, however none of the phone pieces worked, even the phone line was the wrong size. I'm beyond disatisfied. Great assistant for mom
Purchased for mom. The slow speech feature works great and the audio boost is adjustable from 12db to 40db. Has a convenient rocked on side of handset to adjust boost when in boost mode. Buttons are good size. The flashing LEDs are very helpful especially when there is a voicemail, mom also has vision issues and they do get her attention. Overall I give it 5 stars and the slow speech is a function that sets this phone apart from other audio boost phones. I don't think anyone would be disappointed in purchasing this phone. Loud but not booming
I bought this for my mom of 91. While the phone is louder than a standard unit, it is not over the top. It does the job but I guess I was expecting it to be even a bit louder. The handset is very comfortable, the display is big and it is easy to set up. It has waaaay too many options for seniors to be bothered with but that's ok as many of them are incidental. Poor sound quality
The quality of the sound coming from the ear piece is very poor. I chose this phone because it had a lot of holes around the speaker in the handset, making it hard to accidentally position it with a fold of your ear blocking the opening where the sound comes out. I am buying this for my aunt who is almost 101 years old, but testing first. I will be returning it. If it were for me, I'd still return it because the sound is so bad. It is not that it is faint, just not clear, like too much sound being forced through too little speaker. Great phone for the hard of hearing or noisy environments
My husband is as deaf as a post, and I'm not much better.
