This was an interesting documentary about contemporary artist Vanessa Beecroft's passionate attempt to adopt Sudanese twins. Except her art and life keep getting in the way. I like that this documentary shows valid passion on the part of Beecroft, but it shows that she follows her heart and not necessarily what might be best for these twins. She goes to the Sudan to make photographic art, which she is well paid for, and famous for. She exploits local people, and pays them to pose in her pictures, and meets a pair of babies who are motherless. Accidental passion arises in the want to help these babies. She goes to great lengths and expense in the attempt to adopt them, without thinking it thru. It's reality, and ironically she was influenced by Madonna and Angelina Jolie. So in one sense it's strange. I enjoyed it and think it is worth watching. It isn't easy to adopt children from other countries, and this film shows some of the pitfalls. Blessings, Max Rainet. **If you found this information at all helpful, please take a moment to select the "yes" button below. This is mainly a documentary about the personal experience of adoption of the artist Vanessa Beecroft. I found very interesting, both for the artistic issues and the humanity and tenderness of the person.
