About this product

Product Information

Based on the syndicated series starring Pamela Anderson, V.I.P. for the PlayStation offers a mixture of first-person shooting action and hand-to-hand combat. The female bodyguard team led by Vallery Irons is entangled in a mob vendetta while protecting their client Dr. Kindle. After Irons and Kindle are captured, the rest of the team must advance through a series of indoor and outdoor levels to rescue them. Featured characters include ex-spy Tasha Dexter, explosives expert Nikki Franco, former boxer Quick Williams, martial arts specialist Johnny Loh, and computer hacker Kay Simmons.<br><br>Fighting sequences are controlled differently than in traditional fighting games, as players perform combination attacks by inputting a series of onscreen commands. If the sequence is entered within the time frame, the character will carry out the moves and damage the enemy. Play then continues until all the enemies in a level are defeated. The shooting stages are structured in a manner similar to Lethal Enforcers or Time Crisis, with players guiding a cross-hair target on the screen to shoot down enemies. Ten mini-games are also available in between missions, offering a variety of timed puzzles to complete before advancing to the next stage.

    V.I.P. isn't as bad as you might think!

    V.I.P. has a bit of variety, lots of art to earn, and a rating system that makes you want to keep trying each level until you get an A. The gameplay is typically shoot the bad guys and reload or hit the buttons when they appear to trigger hand-to-hand moves. Both elements are done pretty well, with no control difficulties. Not bad, especially for a licensed game, but not great. Also a little embarrassing to play, 'cause it's VIP afterall. Not everyone is going to let it slide if they see you play a Pamela Anderson game.

    Great game with the PS1 graphics and worth buying!

    Needed more new games for the PS3 and with PS2 incompatible, PS1 works fine with PS3 games. VIP (1998-2002) had one of the best games for PS1 released November, 2001 and the analog vibration controls works just as well as the others do for PS3.

    V.I.P rocks, but just for fans

    THis game is really great but just for fans of the series. Its enjoyable with the action and jokes of the tv series. Pam anderson is great!!!

    PAM IS ALWAYS AWESOME!

    GRET FUN, MANY LEVELS, HARD TO FIND, BEST THING TO COME AFTER BAYWATCH. IF YOU WANT TO SIT AROUND AND JUST HUNT AND SHOOT, THIS IS A GREAT WAY TO HAVE FUN.
