Used them immediately on hard soil and they went in with no real issues, using a lump hammer, unlike normal skewer pegs that would have bent. On removal they were fairly easy to pull out with minimal effort, although a little wiggling was required. Only one had a slight curvature on removal. All in all very happy with the quality and value.
