The tool is robust in construction and worked well with my Makita 18V battery. I needed the saw for pruning work, as such, the supplied blades are not suitable for that but are better suited to lighter roles. I have found the reciprocating action unusual and some pressure needs to be applied to the saw for it to cut. However, this may be due to the supplied blades not being appropriate for the wet wood I was sawing.The variable speed of the cutting action is good. I have bought pruning blades !

I will definitely without hesitation use this eBay user again. My first order, an impact wrench, arrived damaged to the packaging, along with the charging unit outer casing broken with live wires exposed inside making it not safe to use.
