    Raw, but real.

    Great sound reproduction. I've got the first CD on the original vinyl version, with all the original crackling. So it's great hearing it cleaned up. It sounds like it could have been recorded yesterday. A real showcase for the brilliance of Pete Townshend!!

    Needs more "live" atmosphere

    Some of the best rock music you will ever hear, by The Who or anyone else. Not sure if it's the best live album. Each track is just met with polite applause. Listen to other live albums and the crowd bring the house down. Albums like Made In Japan by Deep Purple, The Thieving Magpie by Marillion and some of the Jimi Hendrix live albums make you feel like you're actually there. Live At Leeds is a great album musically, but lacks the live atmosphere.

    Who else

    This Album is one of the best rock n roll live album s of the 70’s. The original LP was a single vinyl, without Tommy on it. This cd is the result of a later double album containing nearly all of the songs played in that concert. This is a must for Who fans and I heartily recommend it.
