    AMD 939 Excellent Upgrade

    Product arrived very quickly. It was well presented and securely packaged. It came with thermal paste and I had it installed and running in minutes. This cpu has stabilized my old 939 system and given it new life and I would recommend this type of upgrase tp amyone with the older amd 939 m/board with a single core processor.

    great cpu

    I bought this cpu to give my old pc a new lease of life,it now runs better and smoother, happily running Vista ultimate sp2,I like being able to mutli task on it ,when it had the old single core in it no multi tasking could happen ,I know its a old dual core but will give a few more years to this old pc,I do wish I could have got a bigger one as there a couple of higher versions but people were asking silly prices for them,however for people on a budget this would be a cheap way of increasing performance on a socket 939 board,I highly recommend it

    Great upgrade for older systems

    This dual-core processor is a wonderful upgrade for a little older PC. I've been using Athlon XP 3200+ before. I replaced the motherboard, kept my 2GB of dual-channel DDR400 RAM and bought this Athlon X2 3800+. Result: my PC's performance doubled! In some cases even better. For example, Mediacoder was transcoding video with a slow speed of 19 fps on the old one and now its above 60 fps! And it's cool all the time, so my PC is more quiet as well. I recommend it to everyone thinking about upgrading from single-core.
