    Top Notch Remote

    I have owned several Humax PVRs over the years, & always dread the time when the remote dies. Replacements may work, but they are never as easy to use as the one that is supplied with the machine. This remote is the exception to that rule. It's a joy to use - all the functions work - and I like the fact that it's not as heavy as the old one I'm amazed that such a great quality remote costs about the same as an inferior replacement. I ordered this on Monday afternoon, and it arrived on Tuesday morning, excellent service. I would definitely buy again, very highly recommended

    Poor battery contacts

    The battery contacts on the remote control originally supplied with our humax recorder became dislodged and stopped the control functioning properly. Unsurprisingly this replacement has the same style of battery contact and it is therefore hard to have confidence that it will not eventually suffer from the same fault. The control is easy to use once it has been programmed which required reference to the instructions supplied with the box (not included with the replacement handset).

    Exactly same as original youview remote.

    Works exactly the same as the original remote. I use it as a spare so the wife and I can control the youview box from our own chairs. I also programmed it to control the TV as well by pressing the TV button. The press the PVR button when wanting to control the youview box. I would recommend this.

    Suspicion allayed

    When I ordered this i was suspicious about the quality, as all the other firms advertising their product as "original or genuine" were twice the price. So I half expected a cheap copy and was fully prepared to have to send it back. However, this item seems every bit as good as the one that came with the recorder originally and worked as soon as I inserted the batteries. No problems or complaints at all. - impressed

    A good replacement.

    I needed a new remote as the tv button on the original had stopped working. I bought another on eBay which, although working, felt insubstantial and flimsy. To be fair, it didn't claim to be an original. This one did, and works as well as the one first supplied with the Humax. Feels so much more positive than the copy. Recommended.
