Great textbook so far!! Highly recommended!!
I just received the international version of this text and saved around $200. I saw absolutely no difference from the U.S. version after comparing the two, other than the cover being different and the international version being in B+W instead of color. I'm currently taking the class, so I can't give a very credible personal recomendation of the textbook, but so far it seems extremely user-friendly and very informative. I can say that my professor that chose to use this textbook is one of, if not the best, teacher I have ever seen!I just received the international version of this text and saved around $200. Awesome book on the subject - lose the teacher and just read the book!
This is an awesome statistics book, which is not what you would expect from a text on this subject. I rented it for the course I signed up for, then dropped the course and decided to read the book anyway. Crazy as it may seem, I'm tired of not understanding basic statistical principles. Turns out I don't need an instructor - the book is clearly written with good examples. There are some mathematical calculations, but they support the concepts and are easy to understand. This may turn out to be a great investment!This is an awesome statistics book, which is not what you would expect from a text on this subject.
