    This biography is one big name dropping narrative. The reader will find this is true because Brenda was afraid to hurt anyones feelings by leaving them out. If she could have she would have named all her fans, which would take a volume larger than the telephone books of new york state. If you are one of these fans you will love this book and it will be a fast read. I found myself racing through it and wishing it would never end. I never met Brenda, and I'm poorer for that, but I have been collecting her recordings since the 45 One Step At A Time was issued. A truely fine book about a truely great person, voice, and my ideal woman from the time I was 10 and she was 11. Don't look in this book for negatives nor as she states is it "a sensational, sexy "tell all"", as she has had the ...
