GREAT products.
OK here we go. When you want to improve the way your bike rides you have several options. ALL new bikes are strangled by the manufacturer simply because they must meet the stringent noise restrictions imposed by the EU standards. This means that all bikes have a restricted air intake (reduce intake noise), restricted exhaust system as well as a tune that ensures they can pass the (crazy) drive by noise tests. The result is that MANY bikes have dropped out of production as it became uneconomical for the manufacturer to redesign the engine to meet these standards, hence MOST big singles are dead and many fantastic bikes like the FJR1300 are no more. Sad. So these Rapid Bike products afre ONE of the ways that you can get some of that performance back. I do not really mean more power and ... OK here we go. I do not really mean more power and speed as modern superbikes have too much power these days but for instance my 2016 XT660X single suffers from hestitation which ruins your riding experience. I have removed the cat and have two lovely Arrow exhausts. I have removed the stupid snorkel. I have fitted the wonderful DNA stage 2 air filter and now the bike is MUCH more lively and fun to ride and has WAY more torque than standard. The Rapid Bike piggy back tuning boxes are the only remaining addition I can fit to make the bike run even better and cost FAR less than an ECU flash and can also be quickly removed if required for instance at MOT time. GREAT products!!!
