    Pleased with case!

    Case arrived promptly and sealed n clear plastic, just like the picture. It fit the phone like a glove. My son doesn't need to remove this case, so the phone should be protected at all times. This case could be paired with a high quality screen protector for even better protection.

    TERRIBLE PRODUCT!

    I thought Otterbox was supposed to be the best phone case money could buy, but I guess that's not the case now. My new galaxy s5 fell 6 inches out of my back pocket onto concrete while I was squatted down at work. even that short lil fall, put a big crack in the temper glass hammer-proof screen protector, and left noticable scratches on the case itsself... The case did not grip surfaces when laid on it's back, only if it was face-down. And in the picture it looks like a nice shade of blue with a black shell. The shell was a very ugly dark grey. and the blue part was kind of grey-blue. I spray painted the shell & my paint job held up better than the case itself. Thankfully I found a MUCH BETTER case.

    Commuter vs Defender

    I had the Defender and had to replace it. The Defender was bulky but provided great protection. When you placed the Defender on a surface, it stayed. I was surprised when I first used the Commuter. In 2 days, it landed in the floor twice. It easily slides across surfaces. I was not expecting that. There is no grip when you place the phone face up (and I rarely place it face down). My phone was not damaged when it hit the floor but I need a case with some grip.

    Awesome!

    It isn't big and bulky and it doesn't make the phone look lame, either. I've dropped it a couple of times now, and nothing happened! Woohoo! It's also water-resistant. The rubber part goes in first, then the hard case goes over, making it shock, and water-resistant. I've had it for a month or two now, and it still looks new. Love it.
