    Good small sander

    Good small sander, nice amount of power, vibration not too high. Good weight to it, this also depends on which battery is used though. Single speed seems fine from my experience. Would say min 2ah battery for this. I'm using a 2.5ah works well. Didn't use the extraction attachment, so can't comment on that.

    Save your money and look at alternatives.

    This sander is nothing like as good as the previous model. It is not as well balanced, it is not particularly comfortable to use but most importantly removing the battery is virtually impossible without the aid of some sort of additional hand tool. I have used the range of Ryobi power tools for ten years plus and like them but I deeply regret buying this. It is a bad product.

    Another little green gem

    I have been a user of ryobi 18 v cordless tools for over 15 years, the first ever cordless drill is still in working order though had been superseded by the newer green colour tools and brushless technologyI have been pleased with their one battery policy and was also impressed when we moved to lithium ion batteries they were backwards compatible meaning all my existing devices could be used until I was ready to upgrade even being able to pass down tools that could be kept with new batteries well done Ryobi you let us make the decisions unlike dewalt ,etc who leave you with different batteries and charging stations each time

    Ryobi One Palm sander body

    Very powerful device bought to sand down some garden furniture in desparate need of TLC.Tried out with 1.3Ah battery easy to handle but needed charging every 25mins a 5AH battery rolonged run time but made the device slighlty more cumbersome, 4AH about right. 140mm sand sheets available cheaply in several stockist

    Works very nicely. Yes I would recommend it.

    This tool is good, being cordless. But when the battery is fitted.Its very badly out of balance. Feeling "Back heavy" all the time. Works well. But using it a long time. your hands will ache. Honest review !! Dave. Suffolk
