The first 2-3 times I used it, it actually flared up my hand and made it more itchy for the first 5-10 minute (literally thought the product was a scam), but just be patient, the itch went away shortly and the itch completely stopped for least half a day, which I was very impressed! I'm also using other Eczema Creams recommended by my doctor, but unless I put it on 3 times a day after every 3 hours, it'll itch like crazy.
