Superb little speakers excellent value secondhand!
I had the 760iSe which are fantastic little performers! These 780se are even better with a more refined, tighter, punchier sound. Really worth paying a little more secondhand for these gems! Good solid stands are a must for a 3 dimensional soundstage and deep tight bass! Most importantly they play music with aplomb and will have you captivated listening to album after album! Highly recommended for all types of music! 10 out of 10!I had the 760iSe which are fantastic little performers! These 780se are even better with a more refined, tighter, punchier sound. Excellent speakers which give a real Hi-Fi performance. Top end is accurate, midrange excellent and these do decent bass considering their diminutive proportions. Well constructed cabinets, well finished too and with decent terminals that accept bare wire, spade or banana plug connections for cables. Biwireable too if you wish.

What a delight these are - they were the the posh version of the highly rated 760i (which I have a pair of from new). A very solid cabinet with a real wood veneer. These differed from the 760i by having a deeper cabinet, the option of bi-wiring and I believe a higher spec crossover network. These little belters work well against a wall, or even in a corner and really are a convenient size. These particular ones are about 27 years old, whilst writing this I am listening to them through a Cyrus Two and PCM 7000 CD player and the sound is fabulous.What a delight these are - they were the the posh version of the highly rated 760i (which I have a pair of from new). Fantastic speakers
I have owned these speakers since new & have used them with a variety of amps & setups,most recently an Audiolab 8000Q + two 8000P's in a bi-amp set up. They are fabulous speakers & I would heartily recommend them to anyone.They were What HI-FI's speakers of the year in 1994 when I bought them & I have several magazine reviews that I went by.I have bought Mission 751's now that according to the reviews offer a five % improvement,we shall see.They will be a very hard act to follow.......I have owned these speakers since new & have used them with a variety of amps & setups,most recently an Audiolab 8000Q + two 8000P's in a bi-amp set up.
