Notification on the seller's ebay page explained that VAT would have to be paid but it was included in the agreed price. There were no extras or Customs Duty charges. Glad I payed a bit more to get genuine Benro QR plate with Allen key - fits perfectly.

I have another famous brand but Sirui monopod has had some genius thought and engineering behind it. This is soooo much better than I expected. It is so light, ingenious design stable on its tripod feet, goes to huge height, and can be taken apart to be a low level trip. If you a hesitating, just go ahead and buy one. This seller was excellent, arrived. in just days form China. Packaging perfect, communication excellent and great value. Buy it.
