The Brother QL700 is a compact and professional label thermal printer that is simple and handy for all labeling needs. The Brother Label thermal printer has a variety of features such as eight different typeface styles, three different sizes of typeface, a 12-character LCD display, and two-line print capability. The Brother QL700 printer produces a wide variety of professional quality labels for all types of applications. When used with laminated tape, the label thermal printer can be utilised for any indoor or outdoor application. The Brother Label thermal printer can print up to 93 labels per minute. The printer can also print on continuous paper and tape rolls for signs and banners up to three feet long. The Brother Label thermal printer has a time and date function that makes it very convenient to quickly label time sensitive applications in the office, or it can also be used for virtually any item at home that needs to be labelled such as video and DVD collections, children’s school binders and supplies, photo albums, or files and folders. great! but tricky to set up on Windows 10
wow, and wow-wow. I love being able to print labels at supersonic speeds and very, very easily. Designing my label layout was super easy and looks great. The 'ink' is waterproof/smearproof, which was my main concern. Now for the reason I said it wasn't easy to set up: I downloaded the windows 10 drivers just fine. After that, you need to install software from the CD (this step is not noted anywhere) while making sure the middle green light on the printer is off. Once that's done, it works great!wow, and wow-wow. I love being able to print labels at supersonic speeds and very, very easily. Designing my label layout was super easy and looks great. Very happy with this label printer. Easy to set up and labels are clearly printed. It looks good and doesn’t take up a lot of space beside my pc. It gives my parcels the professional look I wanted. Still playing with all the features clip art etc. Well worth the money as buying personalised labels would cost a lot more in the long run. Definitely 5*****

its brilliant if you think bland and basic is the best no easy instructions its just a case of trial and error to get it to print the labels you want to print. its like you think you are in control then you find out the printer has a say. and you don't get what you think is going to pop out the printing end result.

Great bit of kit
Wanted it for printing sandwich labels, wasn't sure if it was up to the job. After reading the reviews and a bit research which were all good I bought one. It's absolutely what I needed but never expected. My labels look very professional and has my logo on and the print quality is excellent. Highly recommended

Brother QL-700 Label Printer - Outstanding
I bought this printer after reviewing what was on the market, what they can do, price, and users feedback. I particularly liked the fact that it can use both precut continuous address labels on a roll as well as continuous label strip with it's own inbuilt guillotine. This latter ability I have found particularly useful as I have created labels of various sizes for all sorts of things. The printer comes with an inbuilt program called "Editor Lite" which in theory should fire up when the printer is connected to your computer via USB and switched on. This never worked, and you always got the "Windows" "Found New Software" and though I tried all various ways of getting this to fire up, it never did. I was using XP Pro SP3 and though this OS has just been replaced with Windows 8 with ... I bought this printer after reviewing what was on the market, what they can do, price, and users feedback. I particularly liked the fact that it can use both precut continuous address labels on a roll as well as continuous label strip with it's own inbuilt guillotine. This latter ability I have found particularly useful as I have created labels of various sizes for all sorts of things. I installed the full blown "Editor 5" that was on the accompanying CD and that I found was very useful. Not only does it enable to create your own labels it also comes with some templates of office and safety labels. It also has some pre made borders that you can use to enhance you labels for special occasions. The fact that it can use continuous labels means that it can also be used for banners. I would recommend is that once you have installed the software you update the drivers, and the software including the additional label templates, etc. I would also suggest trying to purchase when Brother have the special deal of an extended warranty of three years and cash back. For both of these you have to register on-line with Brother and for the latter supply a copy of your invoice.
