Excellent phone using Windows. Good size and form with 4,35 zoll screen. Note it is an "old design". Very solid and smooth with a optional QI back, is also smooth, sleek, and quite rugged. Great reception with GSM, Wi-Fi, Blue tooth, and all the free apps you can possibly want. It's so good its my second 820. First was bought 2 years ago, is all original, and works perfectly. I recommend to buy one if you can! v1650

This is my first Windows phone, however not my first Nokia. I was sold on the removable battery and expandable memory. So I added a 16GB microSD (max 64GB). As with all Nokias, call quality is very good. The operating system is much easier to use than on the Symbian phones. It is very easy to turn on the WIFI and Bluetooth and their operation is great. Same goes with Nokia navigation and GPS. Software updates work well and the availability of apps is impressive. When transferring contacts, pictures and texts from the old phone it is a lot easier and better to use the "Transfer my Data" than to use Skydrive. The calendar has to be transferred with Skydrive (can only be done once)and all the times on my appointments were wrong, so that was useless. Battery life is limited requiring charging everyday. Use of the GPS navigation needs to be connected to the power outlet or the battery will not last very long. The worst issue I had was not with the phone but with AT&T trying to get their internet connection to work. After trying many times to figure the APN settings for AT&T (the rep "Googled" the settings that did not work), I found myself enough information to figure out what I needed from Techno Buffalo by searching ATT APN. Apart from that, I am very impressed with the phone's capability and flexibility, so I am looking forward to enjoy it for a long while.Read full review
WP8 is a really intuitive phone to use. The Nokia 820 is built very well. Pros, excellent build, great camera, fast and smooth when changing apps and screens. Cons, battery runs out within a day, buy a second battery and wall charger. If you couldn't care less about having the "cool" phones your mates have, go with Windows Phone. It is a far more productive tool, rather than a toy.
So far the phone has been quite dependable. It has a lot of great features for a minimal cost (some features even better than my friends who have iPhones. Battery life is a little disappointing. I usually have to plug it in again during the day, and I do rarely use the internet (wifi). I have made sure not to leave on any battery drainers. So that would be my only complaint about this phone.
I absolutely love this phone! I have had a Nokia phone (non-windows) in the past and was quite pleased with it. I did research on the Nokia windows phone and decided the overall quality rating of this phone is what I needed and I have not been disappointed. I like the overall size, it is thin and the side buttons are convenient - not too large, not too small. The camera takes excellent photos and the reception is outstanding. The feature I am most pleased with is actually the screen - it is tough! Over the past year, there has only been a small scratch on it where as many of my other phones, didn't fare well at all. I would have to agree with most of the other reviewers that the battery life is not very good. I bought a non-Nokia battery and am much happier with that.
It's an excellent item, like the easy to use, I buy it to try for the first time a windows phone and I don't sorry for that. I recommend the phone, but the battery does not live out is you use to many time the internet and compare with Android, windows don't have to many apps like Android.
my first windows phone, great look, easy to use, good speed.. only one thing... i feel battery life is little less while using WiFi( Normal condition -OK)
Definitely a great smartphone. The UI is amazing, it is clear and quick, the ajustment of the visuals is on point, just to name a few things. Windows phone does suffer from a few drawbacks in terms of sheer number of apps. The camera quality also isn't top notch. Overall, great phone, would recommend to anyone who wants a fast, fluid experience and doesn't mind giving up some potential applications.
Nothing much to say really. I wanted to upgrade from an older Nokia Lumia 521 and this looked like a good step. I was not ready to purchase the higher priced new windows phone. This one should be ok for now at least.
