Interact with brothers Justin and Max Russo, and assemble the perfect wizard's wardrobe by purchasing new outfits with trinkets earned during the course of play. Wizards of Waverly Place also includes Disney Interactive's "DGamer" social application.     Must be able to read to play

    Bought for my daughter who LOVES the show. She just got a DS for her 6th birthday and was so excited to play the game. You need to be able to read to play as the directions onscreen and throughout the game are displayed in text. My daughter is just beginning to read so it is great incentive for her to read on her own but I also sit next to her to help with words she doesn't know. Good for both of us in that respect as I can "participate" with the game and share the experience. But important to know if your child is not reading well yet. So far, so good. She loves the characters and being able to learn spells. Some reviews I read said the game is too easy to beat but for a 6 year old it seems just right. We have only just begun to play but my daughter loves it.

    An Excellent game for Children all ages to Play!

    Parents need to know that Wizards of Waverly Place is an adventure game that emphasizes puzzle-solving and interacting with other characters rather than combat. Spells occasionally backfire, resulting in broken science experiments or people being temporarily frozen (hence the "Comic Mischief" disclaimer), but the tone is cheeky rather than mean-spirited. Alex is somewhat preoccupied with her crush, Dean, but it's innocent. One of the mini-games asks trivia questions about the TV show, which might trip up players unfamiliar with Waverly "lore." The game also supports Disney's DGamer online features that let players unlock costumes and achievements.

    great game!

    I bought this game for my daughter who is a big Wizards fan and she has barely put it down since opening it. The game has lots of different things, missions to do that are very fun for my 7 year old!

    Exciting but a little challenging for young ones

    My son loves this show and is having fun with this game. It has been a little difficult for him to learn but not because it is a hard game but rather a great game that requires some thinking, not one to easily bore. Highly recommend.
