Fully authorized by the Major League Baseball Players Association, Super Bases Loaded 3 features 700 actual Major League players. Player and team statistics and ratings are provided by STATS Inc., a nationally recognized sports statistics company. You or you and a friend can compete in a full 162 game season, an exhibition game, a championship tournament (it's not called the World Series because this game doesn't have a Major League Baseball license), and an MVP game. In each mode of play, there are three different stadiums to choose from. Just like in real baseball, you can lead-off and steal bases, use pinch hitters and pinch runners, change your batting stance, substitute players, walk intentionally, pick off runners, and allow a designated hitter to bat for the pitcher. A battery backup allows you to save your progress in season or tournament play.

Great game!!
This is the best(and last)game in the series from Jaleco for the snes. Crisp detailed graphics, player signature moves, MLBPA license (hence the name) Great control and even has battery backup that keeps your stats by stats inc, keeps and updates your BA between innings and shows you the next time you come to the plate! Theres even a cool animation if you crank one out of the park of your ball bouncing around in the parking lot and sometimes it can smash the windshield of a car! Great stuff! Jaleco really nailed the essence of BB on this one, in the top 5 of my fav BB games on the SNES others worth mentioning would be super baseball 2020, relief pitcher, super baseball simulator 1.000, Ken Griffey JR's winning run, and the PHENOMINAL and UBER rare, The sporting news POWER BASEBALL by ... Super Bases Loaded 3 was a game I grew up playing as a kid. Then I lost it a long the way. Well I decided to buy it again so I could enjoy it once more. The game works great, and I still love playing it even after 10 years. Gary
