Seller notes: “Removed from an Xjs with 79,000 miles that had suffered water damage , We drained the engine of all ... “Removed from an Xjs with 79,000 miles that had suffered water damage , We drained the engine of all fluids that had been contaminated / `flushed through twice with fresh oil and fired up and drove well despite the rest of the car having faulty electrics . Compression is good/held temp and the engine ran well on our road test. We purchased the car with the intention of a long term restoration however the loom and chassis was too badly damaged . we would feel comfortable fitting this engine as is to any donor car ourselves however there are none upcoming requiring a replacement block.”
