  • Second hand only, but I'd'd have another.

What to say about the casio Exilim Z750? it's no longer available new, has a low pixel count, and lacks some of the features you would expect in a modern digital camera. So why am I now on my third one? There are several reasons, 1. It is blisteringly fast to start up and take images. I have been so frustrated by more modern sophisticated cameras which seem to take 2 or 3 seconds just to prepare themselves, and when you press the shutter release the delay is so long that the action has happened and it's all over before the image is made. 2. There's a viewfinder. I have yet to find a camera which has a screen which you can see in bright light. I also feel stupid having to hold the camera at arm's length to take a shot. 3. It's got a proper metal body. Withstands lots of abuse. 4. Has some ...

  • I recommend this camera, there are some lovely use examples offered on ebay

Highly recommended. This camera is now available second hand for much much less than its original new price. When new, in 2005, this camera was "state of the art" and even in 2012 its features are still impressive. Of most significance is the speed with which shots are taken, I have owned a lot of digital cameras, and have tried dozens more in shops, and shutter lag has always been an issue. This camera is by far the fastest I have tried, virtually DSLR speed. It has lots and lots of features, including a range of manual options as well as a nice range of pre-set modes, including a number of gimmicks like sepia and monochrome as well as some really useful ones, such as the capacity to photograph business cards and whiteboards in a way which corrects distortion. Solidly built, with long ...

  • Casio Exilim EX-Z750 digital camera

I already have a Casio EX-Z55 which I thought couldn't be beaten for its size, quality and features, then I bought a casio EX-Z750 on eBay. This is a dream with most of the features of the EX-Z55, including an eye level optical viewfinder, but a much easier camera to use and an extra couple of megapixels also (now 7.2). Moving some of the features from the menu as the EX-Z55 to an easy to use dial on the back of the EX-X750 was a winner for Casio. This makes it far easier to choose the type of picture you want to take from the selection of 'Best Pictures' available. I haven't used it to its full potential so far, but up to now I am very satisfied with my purchase. T.A.

  • First class all round pocket size camera

I purchased this camera as a simple carry at all times item. It really does meet all my rquirements. It is extremely simple to use ,it's lightweight and modern to look at.The camera has the added advantage of a an optical viewfinder idel for composing pictures on a bright sunny day. The movie mode is first class, the sound playback is moderate, however when played back on your computer it's jst fine. The flash is more than adequate.A useful program is the monochrome mode you can create some wonderful foeboding pictures when using this program, especially of the sea.The battery life is excellent & reaction speed of the camera is very good. Forget about the megapixels you only require 12+ if you are blowing your prints up to A3 size. I have blown prints up to A4 size and the results compare ...

  • Wonderful compact, high-spec camera!

I purchased the Exilim Ex-750 after having owned a sony cybershot psc-73 that unfortunately broke, i can honestly say this camera outperforms the predecessor in every way! its far more compact, has a nice brushed metal case and the screen is far superior. The build quality in whole far surpasses that of the Sony also. The start uptime on this camera too is excellent, at under 1s for full start up including zoom. The picture quality is excellent, the menu control is easy to understand the the nice little ex button on the side of the camera allows easy and fast access to all of the common photographic settings. The video function on this camera is where it really excels though! although the sony having 30-fps in MPEG vx fine mode, the quality of the casio recordings is even superior! with ...
