I had great fun with this! Spent a good ten minutes just picking out all the goodies and even found a small picker! Panning was fairly easy but I would recommend using a kitchen siv to separate it and then panning half or a third at a time.

A very interesting bag of paydirt. I can't comment of the amount of gold it contains as I haven't panned it yet but it looks really good with lots of mineral samples, gemstones, etc with a mix of round river-worn gravels and a few more jagged ones. I've already spotted a few interesting flakes just by shaking the dirt around but I'm not sure if it's Mica, Pyrites, or GOLD!!! until I've panned it down.
