    Panzer Aces

    This is a great book in the series of front line accounts from German Soldiers who fought in WW II. Having been an avid history buff since childhood, I always wondered what it was like from the German Soldiers point of view. I have read and continue to read U.S. accounts of the war, but there is a lot to be learned from reading the accounts of the German Infantryman and Tank Crewman in WW II. Most accounts I have read concerning German Soldiers in WW II have to do with the eastern front fighting the Soviets. The accounts are truly awe inspiring and it is amazing anyone made it back alive. You also learn of the great discipline and comradeship that the Soldiers shared, which in my opinion definitely gave them the edge when it came to fighting and winning on the battlefield.     If you love tanks , this gives you a outstanding look into the german tank crews , both are very well written in all respects. Most accounts are start of sevice to end of war , well done !
