Not Quite Perfect
It is only a 1 bolt attachment for the locking pin. So instead of the hinge on the lock breaking the pin has a high chance of coming loose and puling out. So I just left the old 2 bolt pin in place. However the lock does not really lock tight on the old pin because it is a smaller diameter. But for my use being a little loose is OK.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not the same as the old originals and had to modify the ice chest to make them work and they don’t latch as secure as the old ones. Broke right away
I installed two brand new latches to replace broken ones on a cooler for my son’s Boy Scout Troop. I put the screwdriver down, pulled on the latches to open them up, and one of them promptly snapped off in my hand. I paid less than $7 for the pair, so it’s not like I spent a fortune, but obviously I wasn’t happy. Cooler can close now
Exactly as the original except for a slightly different color. Not really noticeable. Same material and strength, even had the igloo logo. Won't last forever, but does the job
Used this to replace the latch on s mid-1980's Igloo cooler (about 36 quart size). Easy installation. Wouldn't work with the existing male portion on the cooler. (Misaligned). Replaced with the new include male portion. Plugged 2 leftover screw holes with existing screws. Looks and works fine. This is good but "stplapj" has made the hinge out of old fire hose that will not break & can replace this part with the same stuff it will be better.
