    KMC is always a good call

    I have KMC chains on 4 of my bikes so when it came to replacing the chains on our low end bikes, of course I turned to the KMC X8. Super easy to work with and install. KMC is very reliable as my last chain lasted for several hundred hard miles. These new chains are great and greatly improved the quality of the shift compared to our old stretched chains.

    Works the way a chain should. No breakage so far.

    This brand works great on my old time mountain bike 7 X 3 speed. We also used one on an 8 x 3 speed and it works fine in that application too. Use the master link not your chain tool to assemble your chain. We tried assembling one with the chain tool and it does not work very well, as it broke and took out my rear derailleur, you must use the master link.

    KMC X chains are easy

    These KMC X series chains work well. The X configuration provides easy shifting between cogs. The quick link makes chain easy to install. It doesn't matter which direction chain is installed. Durability is excellent. A good value at around ten to fifteen dollars each.

    A bike chain getting daily use and still working

    Its a bike chain what can I say? It ain't pretty nor does it smell good. But it seems to be doing the job it was designed to do. It is holding up and still working after installing a week ago. Bike peddling much smoother and changing gears. Bike is being used 40 min. to work and 40 min. back daily so the chain is getting a workout. Not to mention the trips to grocery store.
