    A good starter scope

    I'm very pleased with the scope. I don't use it on a tripod, I prefer to rest it on a towel, on a ledge. I honestly can't see the point of the sturdy metal box, too solid to carry around, perhaps this could have been omitted and more money spent on the lens. It's very light and is a great help in spotting birds at up to 200 metres. You can see their eyes and very small distinguishing marks. The fabric case it comes in is a tight fit. It takes some time to get used to the focus when going from X 20 to X 60, but you do get used to it. All in all a very good buy. Excellent next day delivery.

    I use these for looking at landscapes with no blur@ 60x, also the moon looks amazing @60x again no blur. Lightweight well made scopes.
