    Excellent Quality Mini-VGA to VGA

    This adapter, a Mini-VGA to VGA adapter, worked perfectly with my IMac G4. Several older-generation computer manufacturers used this specification for external monitor connectivity. This is the perfect adapter for any computer with a Mini-VGA port that you'd like to add a second monitor to, mirror displays, or even replace the main display in the case of a broken display. In my case I used this adapter to gain easy access to an old IMac G4 with a broken build-in display to pull important family photos .

    Came in a sealed packing, with caps on. However couldnt use it due to my imac G5 screen being more of a mess than it actually looks, so I’m unable to comment on functionality.

    That adapter works. However, the goal on my end was to get the iMac 5 on my large TV through HDMI and that did not work. The TV was not able to show anything. I also tested on an old VGA monitor and that worked perfectly and all resolutions except the interlaced one which showed the output shifted. So I think the product works as expected, just not properly to be converted to HDMI and shown on a modern TV. Too bad.

    Just right for the old eMac I bought

    I'm never 100% sure when buying an adapter — there are so many varieties. However, I was relieved to find that yes, true to the description, this is the right one for an eMac. Then download Screen Spanning Doctor to enable Extended Display.
