    Horstmann H37XL

    This a very reliable and powerful controller, easy to set up and program. Main problem is it has a non-replaceable back up battery that lasts around 5 yrs. After that you have to reprogram every time the mains power goes off. I bought mine second hand and the battery would not hold a charge. Recommend better to buy new.

    Small Easily set up or make a change Leave it to work as it is meant to

    I bought this product to replace an existing Horstmann which was 20 years old I had good service from the existing timer and had no reason not to replace like for like The upside was that I could take the existing timer off with some difficulty and directly replace with the new one This meant that I had no wiring to do just set the new times and away we go Easy to set new times and works well even with a lot of power cuts

    Good but dated.

    This has been on the market for a number of years now. Mine just failed at 7 years old. Disappointed they haven't improved it technically with more on/offs day or even remote smart operation.
