    ....cartoon style graphics nothing like Dead island so dont expect it to be!

    Well if your looking for something along the lines and gameplay of "Dead Island" then you will be dissapointed. Graphics are more comic style and the gameplay totally different. If you are looking for a zombie basher along the lines of Dead island then go for "Riptide" almost identical to the original but with different missions. Soo back to "Escape DI"....bit of a button masher for killing zombies along with having to stop to take pictures , to be honest I lost intreast after around 30mins of playing, but it was a cheap game so didn't mind too much. Im not a hardcore player just a old gamer who started with a 48k spectrum so may appeal to younger gamers, just dont expect it to be anything like "Dead Island"

    Escape from Dead Island Review.

    I'd played the previous 'Dead Island' games, and so was looking forward to this instalment. I have read other reviews of this game, which are largely negative, and I'd like to explain why I enjoyed it, even if they didn't. The graphics here are different to the prior games, played in 3rd person (the others were first person) and opting for a cel-shaded/comic book style over the 'realistic' approach of the other games. This will of course be a matter of taste, but I enjoy both styles, and think the change works well for this game. The story, which causes a lot of annoyance to some reviewers, I found to be engaging enough to want to keep playing. The deliberate ambiguity of the ending was something that, while I didn't expect it, didn't detract from my enjoyment of the game as a ...
