    e.trace 500A battery monitor works well

    I installed the e.trace 500A battery monitor on a bank of 12 volt 105Ah AGM batteries which is charged by 6 - 260 watt solar panels and 6 - Epever 1206AN solar charge controllers. The battery bank is configured as a 24 volt 420 Ah "battery". I use a more expensive battery monitor on my sailboat, but at home I wanted to save some money and bought this monitor because it had the features that I wanted and is the spitting image of a Renogy battery monitor. It seems to be doing the job well. After the sun goes down, it shows the amount of power in Amps and Watts that my equipment pulls from the battery bank. During the day, it shows the amount of power being delivered by the solar charge controllers, minus any loads, to the battery bank. I want to ensure that I can manually monitor the ...
