    A good choice of shredder

    Fellowes shredders have a good reputation for reliability so I was keen to replace my old one that died, (possibly because I never oiled it) after several years of faithful service with one of the same brand. My old one was a Fellowes P50CM. The P35C comes with a tiny receiving bin but I managed to squeeze it onto the top of a 50 litre kitchen swing bin - it takes a few weeks before I have to empty it. The shredder does all I ask it to do. Up to 5 sheets at a time. It does seem to struggle a bit with less than 5 sheets and its a bit on the noisy side but in these days of identity theft, its worth having a slightly noisy shredder so long as it gets the job done. I paid £19.99 for a "refurbished" one which I guess comes with no warranty, but I could have paid £24.99 for a brand new one. ...

    Glass half full. You could possibly make a bin out of it

    Absolute garbage. Expensive and useless it cannot competently shrewd more than one piece of paper I would not recommend this product at all go up Argos and get a cheap one it's a million times better than this one. Avoid at all cost

    Good product

    Does what is required although the automatic cut-off after a few minutes use can be a bit frustrating if you are shredding a backlog of stuff. Note - I would highly recommend that an investment in shredder oil be considered. This to be applied after finishing a shredding section - this prevents the mechanism from seizing up between uses.

    Good quality machine at a very fair price.

    I have had this cross cut shredder for about 6 months now and during that time it has given me good fault free service. I don't use it every day - but tend to save up paper I want to shred to do a decent quantity in one go. Sometimes that can be 20 sheets - sometimes 50 to 100. I tend to work on 5 / 6 sheets at a time even though I know it will take up to 8 at a time. In this way you reduce the risk of overheating - and I have not had one issue in this regard since I have owned the shredder. It feels sturdy and well built and I have no hesitation in recommending it as long as you use it properly.

    Cross cut shredder that does as described.

    A very good quality cross cut shredder. To keep the shredder working at max efficiency after every empty, brush a light machine oil on the under side of the shredder teeth.I found the correct oil for shredders on e bay at a bargain price. I would advise the purchase of the larger bottle of oil because of the convenience of not having to buy a new bottle every two weeks say.
