    Easy to set up and use

    Very easy to set up with your Alexa account, was up and running in a couple of minutes. I use Echo dots mainly to control Smart devices around the home such as light and switches and works very well. Also use it as a speaker to play music and for something so small the sound quality is good. One thing to bare in mind is that you must ensure devices state they are Alexa compatible as some third party devices do not work correctly with voice commands.

    Probably think your not going to get a good sound from a speaker just a few inches diameter. Wrong! For its size the sound is amazing. This Dot Gen5 gives a lot of sound, but it is also clear, and the tone is good too. You get bass and tone which is very acceptable. A good feature on the speaker is raised + and - buttons for loudness and the mute and in it buttons for the microphone. There are good features if you are fumbling in the middle of the night, for example, if like me you wear glasses during the day but take them off at night. As you probably aware this unit has Alexa built in, more than a mind full of knowledge and very quick to respond. There is software to load on your phone to help set its many features up, and it’s nice to wake up to a greeting and a summary of the news, or ...

    Great sound quality for the size of the Loudspeaker.
