Serving as the new apprentice to the sorcerer Yen Sid, players use Kinect-based motion controls to conduct the music, earning points for staying in rhythm, and unlocking the ability to apply three different musical styles to each piece. The game supports two players and includes songs from artists like Queen, Lorde, and Bruno Mars, as well as classical pieces from Mozart, Vivaldi, and Bach.

    Great game for kids and adults

    This game is made for kids, yes, but if you are passionate about music it can be fun for adults as well. Yes, the story is childish, but the concept is very unique and you really do get into the music. The novelty wears off eventually, but worth the inexpensive price. Highly recommend this for kids.

    Not what I expected

    I would have enjoyed the game if we could play songs without any interruptions (no switches, no composition spells) while in party mode (all songs unlocked). For me, the interruptions takes out all the fun, so I don't play at all.
