Great product for dry eyes
I have been using this product for dry eyes before bedtime for years. It is the only eye ointment that keeps me sleep through the night without waking up in the middle of night because of painful eyes due to dryness. My ophthalmologist was satisfied with the improvement of my dry eyes by using this product even after I am not using the prescription dry eye eye drops which was no longer covered by my prescription plan due to the high cost. The thought is OK
Being a thick gel, there is a problem in getting an application from the tube to the eye. Just doesn't transfer easy at all. Once in the eye, it serves to seemly paste the lids together. I really do like to wink at my wife once in a while but this does not allow for that. :-) Went to the Severe Dry Eye Relief instead. It works much better.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The best!

dry eye relief
My eyes are very dry and need prescription eye drops during the day. My eye doctor recommended this product for night time relief. My eyes got so dry overnight that it was painful to open them, but a little rub of this product on the lower eyelid before bed is a tremendous relief. Works Fine
My usual brand is now nearly $30 a tube. This product does the job adequately but does not dispense as well as my regular brand. The product needs to extrude from the tube without bending on itself or puddling for easy application in the eyes. Changed for the worse

Gen Teal Lubricant works great, purchase the night time "ointment" for my dog's eyes

Genteal Tears
this is an excellent product and have been using for years for dry eyes. This order was not a good buy I miss the part were it was small tubes more like samples .12 oz $7.99 ea. You can get a full size .34 oz at Walmart for less than $10.00 which is an excellent price.
