    TRUE to originial texts

    Dr. Macarthur is gentle yet absolutely committed to the unbiased and correct translation and transmission and explanation of the Word of God. Short of a full commentary, this Bible with its notes is a vast and nearly complete volume to answer and expound on most Bible passages and makes the difficult ones very clear. Defines much of the original texts and keeps the user's eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. It is not too difficult for a beginner or too easy for the seasoned Bible student. I will never "grow out of" this Bible. Print is easy on the eyes and, since it is a hardback, might need a protective carrier or cover. Pages are thin but I would much rather have thin pages than skimpy notes.

    Great study Bible, easy to understand. Each verse is well explained on bottom of pages. New King James version is easy to read for young people in 2017. Written by John Macarthur, who is a great Bible teacher and scholar of theology and also he explains historical context. I highly recommend this Bible for any believer teen years and up.
