    The ornament came wrapped in tissue paper. I was concerned that it was not new. I was informed by the seller that not all Hallmark ornaments have plastic clear liners which are commonly referred to as clamshell protective holders.Nearly all miniature Hallmark ornaments are wrapped in tissue paper. This item was indeed new, and wrapped in tissue by the factory. I did examine the ornament when I received and it appears to be new. The ornament arrived in a timely manner and not damage in the box.
