    Lightweight, efficient, and has a pleasing aroma.

    Seriously, how does one rate guitar picks? While actual pick thickness (or stiffness) is a matter of personal preference, what I like about the tortex is their texture. Like very very fine sandpaper vs. the polished plastic picks you may be more familiar with. I tend to have a better grip on these with less effort and they make a satisfying sound when doing pick slides down the strings. Sweetwater has a pretty darn good deal on a 12-pack and the shipping was exceptionally fast.

    Best little pick on the planet.

    I've always gone in music stores and bought whatever thin picks were sitting up front while waiting to check out. Didn't think it really mattered much. But, these feel so good to play. My new favorite pick.

    standard pick

    I find that the thickness of the pick has a direct effect on the brightness of tone. The thinner the brighter. This falls somewhere in the middle. Works well for me
