    yes! It performs well...it is "The Outlaw Years"!

    A gritty, great series, if you liked Lonesome Dove...Knute is wonderful in the lead role, and the episodes are really good....all of them.....the themes are for adults, not really suitable for children.

    Excellent DVD collection.

    I am glad I bought this DVD collection. I had only seen a few episodes back in the 1990's on TV. I now have a chance to see the whole series. While "The Outlaw Years" is darker than Season One I find the changes in the characters intriguing and the setting excellent. Picture quality is terrific.

    "Outlaw Years" is misleading--bounty hunter years might be better-
