In this riveting, disturbing doc, filmmakers Luke Walker and Melissa Maclean obtain unprecedented access to a controversial Australian 'spiritual enlightenment' organisation called Kenja. During its 25-year lifetime, Kenja has been derided in the media as a 'secretive cult,' and co-founder Ken Dyers described as a 'seedy conman.' Ken shot and killed himself after the Melbourne Film Festival opening night screening, following allegations of sexual abuse from cult members. Through remarkable verite footage and candid interviews the doc explores the anatomy and ambiguity of the cult enigma.
