    Almost a complete replacement for old remote.

    I was concerned that this remote may not suit my older lg tv. But it works well. Sadly the layout is not optimal. The easiest buttons to reach located in the centre have been designated for internet streaming in order no doubt to encourage purchasing from third parties. No use for me as my TV is not internet connected. Also some other features for my TV are not available. The biggest problem is the zoom button. It is easy to press accidentally when switching AV inputs. It alters the aspect ratio of the picture, but cannot access the correct setting, so there is no way to get back to normal. Fortunately this button still functions on the old remote, but it is very annoying- we now have to use three remotes. The new, the old, and the LG sound bar. Despite these irritations the new remote ...

    Much to my surprise it does not work as instantly as previous model. Furthermore! It has no "LG" logo on it to suggest it is a genuine part!!! Regards, BJG.

    I have no doubt that this product would work for intended purposes.However,not being au fait with modern technology I bought it thinking it would work with my tv as stated, but I have a Sky box so I found that it was not compatible. This was my mistake in not confirming exactly what it would do.I therefore submit 5 star rating as I have no reason to doubt its function. However, I would like to question the condition(not only on this product) that returns must be returned in its original packing unused! Test it without opening?

    Remote control

    This remote works wonderfully with my tv. Struggled with previous remote as buttons had disintegrated. Was hopeful they would be compatible and they was. Makes our life so much easier. Was extremely pleased with product.

    Brilliant. They work. Highly recommended

    This is fantastic. Four years my other half has been farting about claiming he'd have to find the warranty for the TV (but never did). Consequently to get bbc 1 (because the button wouldn't work) we had to find channel 4 and go backwards. Finally I found this on ebay. It is brilliant, works a treat. We have an LG 32" tele and the new controls just worked straight away. Just brilliant
