    does the job.

    This unit is marketed as having a digital tv tuner in it which it does not have. It needs a jungle jim of cables to hook up. Overall it is a decent recorder for the price. I needed to transfer a lot of camcorder videos and stills to dvd. It does that with good quality. Easy editing, nice display of titles. It's an old machine using only rca and svideo cables.

    Rca cables don't work

    Brand new RCA cables only work in audio and not video. I will try other forms to transfer the signal from the recorder to the television such as sd cable. If that doesn't work I'm not sure what I'm going to do.

    great for the price

    having trusted in funai before i tried this when my current sony dvd recorder went down. at the price i paid and how good it turned out, i might just buy another as a back up. no remote kinda stinks but i was able to find a replacement one, new, at about half the price of the dvd recorder.
