    Overall positive. Shipping was within the four-day window of seller's policy, but that was considerably slower than I am used to. Of course it went into a UPS black hole after that, further delaying my project. But the drill works great and the listing had plenty of pictures to assess condition. Seller also did not answer an eBay message asking when they were going to ship, but they did send a nice email with the tracking info once they did. Good seller if you don't need your items fast.

    Lightweight with great features

    Smooth, it moves with ease, I'm glad it has the option to not just go on the edge of the desk, but also could be drilled into the middle if need be. I have a work bench that is my desk and this is perfect for it, I can place it wherever I want. Setup was super easy. Was on the fence between this and the Blue Compass, but I'm happy with this Rode.

    good boom arm but with critical flaws.

    Worked great while it lasted, the base however is made with a very fragile resin based polymer and i wasn't putting really any strain on it, i think perhaps it just fractured over time from being clamped to the desk. i was moving my mic very lightly and the base dome suddenly shattered into a bunch of pieces. Only used it for around 20 days before it broke. Thought this mic was one of the best i guess not, they went real cheap on the mount they should have used a durable polymer instead of resin. Might of had something to do with the temperature as well it was very cold but the base is practically made out of glass and broke into 100 pieces shattering everywhere.
