    Very Good Razor Cartridge - But Not Perfect

    I have always been partial to the Mach3 Power cartridge, the "Sensitive" version in particular. But I've always been interested in trying the latest Gillette razor. This time I decided to shave half of my face with the Mach3 Sensitive Power and the other half with this Proshield cartridge on the Flexball handle. What I have found with all of Gillette's 5 blade cartridges is that they shave as good, or even slightly better than the Mach3 for several shaves. But then the 5 blade versions begin to pull at my beard hairs as they begin to dull. It isn't too bad on one day's growth, but on 2 or more days growth I need a sharp 5 blade razor compared to the Mach3 which I could use slightly dull on several days growth. The lubrication strips before and after the blade do seem to increase ...

    GREATEST VALUE ON THE NET!!

    Hey guys!! Okay. I shave (like most of us have to), but that's compounded by the fact that I've rocked "the clean head" for nearly 25 years. Needless to say, I go through those hyper-expensive blades post haste!! Racks up a fairly lofty monthly grooming tab. So, instead of sometimes surpassing up to $25 for a pack of ONLY 4, THIS deal was $15--FOR EIGHT!!! HOPE I've permanently solved an issue I'd just come to accept as being a high-dollar bedevilment! Lol THANKS AGAIN, eBay--- gonna reorder these early enough to allow for ample delivery time- don't need any gaps!! Lol

    Great Blades, but does not last too long

    These are great blades that gives you a very smooth shave. However the downside is that they do not last too long. Which makes you buy them more often. I guess this is what Gillette wants you to do. I have used the Schick Hydro razor blades in the past and they cut just as close and gives you the smoothness of the Gillette, but last longer. The Gillette has the rotating head...which may be of some benefit, I just have not figured out what yet. I may be going back to Schick they cost less and does the same thing.

    Sharper/Shaves Better than some new razors even after 10 shaves.

    Yeah, that is the claim, and from my experience I would say it is true. I've been using disposable razors for years. At one time I was using better refillable razors like Gillette makes, but figured because of how cheap it is to buy disposable razors it was way too expensive to use the refillable ones. And I might have continued using the disposables if it weren't for a free Gillete Fusion Pro razor I got in the mail. Now I am spoiled. And since these really do last a long time the investment is worth it .... at least IMO. UPDATE, After using these blades every day for over 3 months now I am getting a minimum of 6 weeks out of each blade. I am blown away by how they stay sharp for so long!

    BEST SMOOTHEST SHAVE EVER

    I'me 79 and have hacked up my face with all types of razors throughout my lifetime. These blades are even better than the original Fusion blades that I have used. Note: I even tried some Chinese-made look-alike "Fusion" blades....horrible shaves, nicks and cuts galore. I'm gonna stick with genuine Gillette blades from now on.
