This take on the Batman legend follows teenager Terry McGinnis, who takes over from an aging Bruce Wayne after learning of his secret identity. McGinnis contacts Wayne after his father--a former employee of Wayne's--goes missing, and the two become a formidable crime-busting team, using the former caped crusader's brilliant mind and McGinnis's agility to bring miscreants to justice. McGinnis's search for his absent father is the common thread that ties each episode of the show together.
