    The Torque Wrench to own

    An excellent and inexpensive tool. Well made, easy to use and effective. Also a great set of adaptors included in the set. A little parralex error when setting torque parameter, but once youve worked this out its easy. Definately worth the money and wish I'd bought years ago.

    Good, but could be better.

    A good quality torque wrench with the low range needed to assemble today's carbon components without causing damage. In a sturdy case with a good range of quality bits and a good indication of when the required torque has been reached the only negative I have is that there if difficulty in reading the scale due to the large amount of parallax caused by the plastic window with the marking being a long way from the scale. Other than that a very useful high quality tool.

    Gives instant access to the strength required for checks and re-assembly.

    I have always wondered how torque wrenches work. This product and its paperwork give instant access to the principles but assurance is available from your local bike shop. I wanted to reassemble my aheadset and assure myself the bars would not move from parallel to the bike on the move, or allow loosening of the head bearings - instantly checked and adjusted. And of course checking of other Allen key settings assures safe riding. The internet gives access to the required minimum values for eg front derailleur , seat post and so on.

    Got a bike and would like to repaiar it yourself? Make this your first tool... its worth the money 3/8 head fits most fittings that fit your bike ... dont risk stripping your alloy out
