    Having changed my life thanks to my son .I tried the How Not to Die Daily Dozen. My life has changed remarkably m.     Forced into veganism because of health problems I read the authors book and then purchased the cookbook. Not really being a cook I found the book easy to understand as well as having an understanding to the reasoning of eating vegan food. Beats the rhetoric of the common sawbones!

  • Great book despite the stupid title

    It's worth it just for the incredible nutty parm (a vegan alternative to parmesan cheese that is even better than the "real thing" in my opinion, and I was dubious since I dislike the main ingredient, nutritional yeast). The other recipes have been over seasoned so far, but that's easy enough to fix by simply cutting back to let the natural food flavors be better balanced. The recipes have nice variety in required effort, and they are very consistent with a heart-healthy diet without being preachy or pseudo-scientific. It's all backed by good science (and good taste)!

    While this is an E book, it provides the ability to scroll through recipes you wish to try and print them out. Information packed without being overwhelming and provides the ability to try new recipes out of our "comfort zone" yet easy and delicious. I have never cooked with middle eastern spices or indian spices before, and find myself trying a lot of new dishes that my family loves. Made the moroccan lentil soup 4x already. Good value for the $
