    Best "Romeo & Juliet" movie ever produced

    My title says it all. This is a classic, and has been used in classrooms across the country to study Shakespeare's timeless story. This version won an academy award for costume back in 1968. Plus the lead actors are gorgeous!!

    Beautiful Movie

    This is one of my favorite movies from my teens. I wondered if it would feel dated when I watched it again. The answer is no because it took place in the 1500's (I think). The acting is wonderful and the story is beautiful. Heartbreaking but beautiful.

    The Classic Version

    Well acted by age appropriate actors and actresses. Plus Laurence Olivier voicing the chorus and Lord Montague (portrayed by an Italian actor), music by Nino Rota...all add up to the best or at least my favorite version of Romeo And Juliet!
