    Surprisingly Good

    Read the books on a friends recommendation (never was interested when they first came out) and I was surprised at how good they were. The illustrations by Jim Kay are breathtaking and those alone make the books worth it. I even cried at the end of book 3. I’d highly recommended the series, ESPECIALLY the illustrated versions.

    Great illustrations of very good book

    Every book with these beautiful illustrations is worth adding to your library. My 10-yr old loves reading these versions. But the story compelled him to continue books 5-7 without the illustrations, although he wants to buy them when they do come out.
